Hi I'm Anne and this is the review of the DVD Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This is the first of those five movies that are currently available. The fifth one is in theater so in fact I just went to see it the other day. But this is the movie that started it out based on the book. It started it on in the first in Harry Potter's series. Features are very young Daniel Radcliffe along with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. And if you've seen the latest movie and you go back and watch this one which I did today they seemed extremely young. But I think that this movie was wonderful because it is the introduction to the entire series. They do such a good job. They're trying to be faithful to the book and show all of those special little ins and outs of the Hogwarts castle of the characters all the funny little jokes and they've setting up a friendship between these three characters that sees and through right through the end of the series. It's a wonderful story. I think it's very well suited for young children which is something I can't say about later installment in the series and I would feel very comfortable with letting kids as young as age or seven watch it. My kids really enjoy it. It does have a few scary parts the part with troll and of course the scary part of the ant. But it wasn't so much that they can handle it and they will roll and be seat and watch the entire thing. So this is a really fun movie got great special effects and great acting. And it's the beginning of a wonderful series. Thank you.
