Decent Dandruff Shampoo

Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo seems to eliminate most dandruff when used once a week, however it can leave hair feeling dry and with a gunky build-up, so I would recommend alternating it with another brand of shampoo.

Hello Expo TV Today I would like to talk to you about this Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo. This shampoo has some good points and some bad points. Typically I don t use this shampoo only. I have another brand of shampoo that I use regularly and I use this brand about once a week to prevent dandruff. As far as preventing dandruff goes this seems to do a really good job. I don t generally have problems with dandruff. And if for some reason it is a really dry kind of year I can use this. I use this twice a week and the problem pretty much goes away. So as far as preventing dandruff it seems to do a very good job. The problem I have two-fold problem that I have with this shampoo. First of all using it tends to dry out my hair which is kind of counter-intuitive as far as dandruff shampoo goes you think it would not dry out your hair because drying causes more flaking of the skin. But I have found out that this tends to dry out my hair. I am really not sure why that is. Secondly after using it it tends to feel like there is a [dunky] build up in my hair. It feels kind of thick and like I can t get it all out. So that is the main reason why I don t use this regularly. If I only use it once a week then the other shampoo will rinse out the residue that is left in my hair from this Head and Shoulders shampoo. So as far as preventing dandruff goes I highly recommend using this shampoo. But couple it with another regular shampoo during the week to prevent drying of your hair and frizzy [dunky] build up.
