How often do you have to charge the 18 volt battery for when you want to use the Black & Decker Grasshog?

A battery works about 30 minutes on a charge. The good news is that the trimmer comes with two batteries so you can always have a fully-charged battery on hand. It is easy to take one battery off and put on the next one. They slide on and snap in place. In fact, the batteries aren't connected to the trimmer when you charge them. The batteries can also be used on other Black & Decker tools.
