As far as I know, there is no support for an AC adapter --unless you can either rig one up yourself or have someone qualified do it for you. Like yours, mine consumes batteries much too quickly, and I've thought about either buying rechargeable batteries(expensive upfront but cheaper in the long run) or trying to wire up my own adapter (would hate to ruin the electronic components though). Let me know if you find a solution!

I have the Proform 800 elliptical. You can get the Proform AC adapter at Sears for $19.99. It is a 6v adapter and the part number is 14730.

OK - After much research, here is what you need.

1. You need a 600ma adapter
2. It needs to be 6v
3. You need to have positive tip polarity

I just called 1-888-742-2480. I found it on ProForm.com. I gave her my model number. I have a Pro Form 480 ellipitical. The AC adapter was $26.15 with shipping.

Purchase an adapter that provide 6 volts. The Positive terminal is inside the negative on the outside of the Female Plug.

I purchased one from Sears, $19.00 and it works fine.
