As far as I know, there is no support for an AC adapter --unless you can either rig one up yourself or have someone qualified do it for you. Like yours, mine consumes batteries much too quickly, and I've thought about either buying rechargeable batteries(expensive upfront but cheaper in the long run) or trying to wire up my own adapter (would hate to ruin the electronic components though). Let me know if you find a solution!
hi im loking for an ac adapter for my elliptical pro-form ,but im not sure wich should i get.
the model No.PFEL70609.0
Thanks for you help
I'm also interested if a way to repair the console after using the adapter. It worked great at 1st nut not the display won't light up. The fan was on---so it stays on if I put in batteries until I take one out. I'd really like to get it fixed if can be done for a reasonable price. Any advice?
I bought the XP 110 second hand and fried the board within minutes of getting it home. After the fact, I bought the power pack and new board but now have issues with the motor and have purchased a new elliptical. Before using the AC adapter, make sure its the right one! If anyone is looking for a power pack and board, even as a back up, I will sell all for around $200.00. It's been plugged in but never been used. email me: craines77 at comcast . net
I JUST CALLED PROFORM
YOU WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTEE
IF YOU BLOW YOUR BOARD OUT
WITH A POWER SUPPLY THAT DOESNT
COME FROM THEM ..
I JUST ORDERED ONE ..
ITS UNDER 30 BUCKS
I HAVE AN ELLIPTICAL AND I LOVE IT SO FAR ..
I just purchased a Proform XP 110 second hand and previous owner can't find the manual. Wehre can I get one?
Having read the postings above, due to the same fried console problem with my Proform Ellipt. PFEL7806.0, I have contacted my lawyer about a class action lawsuit against Proform and ICON due to what is clearly a design flaw in this product.
I expect this lawsuit will cost them far more than the $342.00 they would like for a new replacement console. It has been said that "#$%& hath no fury like a woman scorned." I say #$%& hath no fury like a man who can't use his FRIED Proform Elliptical.
I just found one of these multivoltage power supplies at Walmart for 15.00! It is a 600ma output, just installed it and it is working!! Maybe i can finally use this machine!! Thanks for the tips posted here...
I think I fried mine partially, I used an adopter that I had at home(6V), now the light come on on program side, but on the right side the the fan and the resistance sittings does not work.
Any solution to this problem?
