Don't fear the treadmill!!! Free yourself.

    Transcript of Video Review

I m going to review my treadmill today. My treadmill is an Image brand. The model is 19.0 R and I got it at Wal-Mart for about $600 and it s a really good and sturdy treadmill but it costs a lot of money for me because I don t have just $600 to blow and I kind of regret buying it just because it was so expensive and it took forever for me to pay off. The reason I got a treadmill is because I don t want to exercise outside during the winter. I hate winter and a treadmill inside I thought would be the answer to all my fitness goals and just make me melt away the pounds. I guess if you did it on an often enough basis that would happen but I m a little bit lazy and this summer I just prefer to go walking outside so you really want to think about how much you re actually going to use the treadmill before you buy one. Also try to get to a store that would let you test the treadmills out before you purchase one because it is a really big investment and you wanna make sure that you get one that s comfortable for you. Okay and I m gonna go ahead and show you the treadmill now. This is the display of the treadmill. This is where it s got handrails as you can see so you can hold on to that while you re working out and it s got cupholders here for your bottle or cup of water because it s really important that you stay hydrated during your workout. This is the key that makes the treadmill turn on. Without this it won t turn on. And here s another tip if you don t have your treadmill plugged in it also won t turn on. Okay now I actually have the treadmill plugged in and turned on. Here is your Start button here s the Stop button. It s really a big digital display so you can easily see what you re doing because when you re bouncing up and down jogging sometimes you can it s hard to see what you need to see. It does have an incline so you can go up or down faster or I m sorry at a steep angle like uphill or at a slight angle is what you use that for and then over here is the speed control so you can go slower or faster here and you can do up to ten miles per hour which I don t know why you would want to because that s incredible fast. Okay that was almost an injury. See you should use the utmost in safety when you are on a treadmill and not just to goof around because that can lead to a lot of injuries. And the buttons here go between one to ten miles per hour. One is pretty slow so that s a good starter and as you can see here well you may not be able to see it but it does have a nice big digital display and it shows the distance that you re walking the calories that you re burning the pace at which you are going the speed that you re going. It does have even it shows even the amount of incline that you re using and it also shows the time or how long you ve been on the treadmill so that s really cool. Here s the actual mat of the treadmill or the whatever you wanna call it the track mat runnery thing of the treadmill and it s got a really nice wide running surface and one of the features with this treadmill as you can see here this is a knob so you can fold up the treadmill when you re not using it and I ll show you how that works too. This should give you an idea of what the treadmill looks like folded up. I ve got it currently in its space saver position right now so it doesn t take up that much room. What I hate about this space saver though is that it s so heavy to fold up that you I ve got the space saver edition just the fold-up treadmill just so that I would have more available space because the treadmill is an incredibly huge piece of equipment to bring into your home. But it s so heavy that you can t fold it up and tuck it out of the way often unless you re a body builder and have incredible muscle mass which I don t. This treadmill is so bulky and heavy that it does take up a lot of room so that s another reason why I wouldn t buy this treadmill again. Yeah I kind of regret buying it. But it does give you a good workout I have to say. Also I don t know if you can see it or not but when it s folded up like that the walking part the part that you walk on folds up and it s held together with a little tiny knob. I fear for my life that one day I m gonna be behind that trying to fold it up and I m gonna slip and drop it and it s gonna cut my head wide open because it s steel metal and it s so heavy that I would probably break my neck if it ever fell on me and I live in terror at that. But if you re looking for a treadmill this has been a really good brand and a really good model. I ve never had any problems out of it. It s really cool if you can afford it and have the space. So if you do have a room just dedicated to your exercise equipment or you have some way to tuck it out of the space so it won t be such an eyesore and take up so much room I recommend you getting this particular treadmill.
