Is theGarmin 200 Pocket Vehicle GPS Navigator wireless or does it need to be plugged in?

It's wireless. Only needs to be plugged in when it's charging but you can still use it. Just uses the car outlet. Great little device for the price!

just need charge it before you use it...

Interestingly, I have the 200 which doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the others. My friend has the 250 with the widescreen. It keeps falling off her windshield because it is too heavy for the holder. Not a problem with the 200.

The wireless feature is great. I have even thown it in my purse and used it when I am walking. It would be great to have in NYC.
