We're looking at a pair of Kensington Noise Canceling Headphones. These are cheap. I bought these for $30. These are among the cheapest noise canceling headphones you can get. And you can see here it uses one AAA battery for the noise canceling feature. If you're not using the noise canceling feature, it does not use the battery at all. And battery life is fairly good. You can get 20 hours easily using the noise canceling feature. As you can see, they're padded but it's relatively thin padding. These aren't that comfortable. Overall, the sound quality is average. You can get better thirty dollar headphones. You can actually get better twenty dollar headphones, but you can't better twenty or thirty dollar headphones that cancel noise, which is the main feature. You can definitely feel the hard plastic, and if you're wearing these for more than a couple hours, if you take really long plane rides, I'd recommend something higher end that has more padding. You can see here, right here is the noise canceling switch. When you turn it on, the noise canceling features engaged. If you're just looking for headphones, I would not recommend these. But if you need the noise canceling feature for plane rides, or use this when you're mowing the lawn or something, then these are nice, clear up headphones. They're not going to put you back too much at $20 or $30, and they do the job. And noise canceling features works surprisingly well for a pair of cheap headphones. There's a bit of background hissing when you turn the feature on, which you might notice with very quiet, maybe classical type music. But if you're listening to rock music, you're not going to notice it. And it definitely cancels out low, low frequency noise, such as the hum of an airplane, or if you're using a lawnmower, it'll cancel out at least the lower frequencies of that. It will not cancel out any high frequencies, so if people are yelling and screaming, you're going to hear that even with these headphones.
