Hi Expo TV I am doing a review of my Kitchen Aid Ultra Power blender. This is how the blender looks. I really don t have enough good things to say about Kitchen Aid. This is probably my least favorite appliance from Kitchen Aid. It is cool because this part here is all glass. It is not the cheap plastic which has its pros and cons because it is good that it is glass. It is nice and heavy weight. It holds the cold in there better than the plastic. But you know if you drop it it will probably going to it is more likely to break. It is still pretty thick. So it may not break but definitely more likely to break than plastic. Also I like the fact that it is impossible to keep clean. This top lever here pulls apart. And then you can take this top part off if you like. But you can see it is kind of dirty here on the side. I can t get to that. And then here on the side are where the blades are. As you can see it is kind of dirty in there. And it is really hard to get to and I have heard that you can put a bit of liquid soap and some water and run the blender but that will sometimes take care of that. But it doesn t. So I actually haven t used this very much because it is kind of gross because it is dirty. You have several settings here. You have a stir chop mix puree and liquefy. You can pulse. You can leave it on. Or you can turn it off. It does chop ice crush ice with the different speeds. And it is really good for making margaritas or some types of frozen drinks. It does chop the ice really evenly. So I do enjoy that. It has a good motor on it. And I wanted to be able to show you how it crushes ice but I am out of ice. So let us not do it. But I will run it for you so you can hear it is a pretty loud machine. So order for you to be able to use it you have to turn it on. You won t just push the setting. It has to be on first. And then you can push the button. [Sound of blender]. And at that point you can either pulse it or you can just turn it off. So I give this I don t know three out of five. Whereas most of my Kitchen Aid stuff I give five out of five. But this was a little less impressive to me.
