Hi this is Erick and today I am reviewing the Kodak DX6490 Digital Camera. It is a small sized camera that fits on the palm of the hand has a 10x zoom on it which is your optical zoom and then it has a three time digital zoom so a total of 30. When you try the camera on it takes about three to four seconds for it to power on extends it's lens and once you have your cap off you are able to shoot any picture that you want. On the back of it you will find a nice dial that indicates that your camera is on and you have different settings for action sports movies and you can then go into your menu system and you could set-up anything that you want in there with your picture quality colors your saturation points your time stamps. You could review any of your pictures by hitting the review button and delete it on the camera without having to hook it up to your computer just yet. You could magnify your pictures. You could delete the pictures and you change it to a black and white if you choose to do so. On the top of it you will find the shutter button if you want to force your flash you need to do your macro or your distant pictures. In addition you will have your pop-up flash lens. On the side you could find your audio visuals connections and then here you can plug your USB port. You could plug in your sound to a TV and will also have your video port out. On the other side you card find your access to your media card which takes an ST camera card. In addition you could do an external flash with your plug in and it has your sink right here. Overall the camera is pretty good. I feel that the shutter sometimes can be a little bit slow and you miss your action shot but most of the time it's a good quick point and shoot camera and that allows you to change review settings with it. The battery life on this can be variable between an hour to five hours depending on the amount of shots that you make. Other than that I hope you enjoyed this review. Thank you.
