Hi, I would like to share my thoughts on this product. This is a Logitech Cordless Desktop LX500 keyboard and mouse. This is a well-designed keyboard with nice text typing, and several helpful function keys. It is compatible with most Windows and Mac. The mouse was okay for a while, but then I started having some issues. The wireless model for this set is absolutely terrible. I would have to reconnect with my peripherals frequently just to get that signal going to them. You get 5 pieces, the keyboard, wristlets, mouse, receiver, and CD -- store installation stuff. The keyboard is much quieter than my last one. It has a million different buttons, which you can use and customize. On the left are web browsing buttons, which include home, search, switch, and back. On top, the F keys have other functions. They will open up various office programs or whatever you tell them to. There is also a media center at the very top to control videos and music. Apparently, you can use the keyboard itself as some sort of remote. The keyboard is a kind of bid to bring all the way across the room. Both the mouse and keyboard run on AA batteries. As far as battery life is concerned, I've been using both for a few weeks and everything still works. The reception is okay for the most part. Sometimes I find that what I type is not all recognized, but that is pretty infrequent. I would like to give this product a five star.
