Hey my name is Scott and today I'm going to be doing a review for the Logitech Harmony 880 Remote. -- First thing you might notice about the remote is that it has a color screen, kind of rare for a regular remote. -- It has a color screen and it has a lot of features on top of that. The coolest thing about the remote is that you actually program it through the Internet. You don't sit and you know fumble around with the buttons and go through the manual. Once you logon to the Logitech website it has all different options for the different components of your home theatre system. It asks you what type of amp you have, what type of TV you have, if you have a DVD player, video game system all those kind of things so it could figure out how to set up your remote for you. Once you do that, you set up different activities like say, watch a DVD. It's going to ask you -- what setting you want your TV on, you use an amplifier for the sound or do you use the TV for the sound and once you do all of that, you press one button that says watch a DVD and it's going to put everything on the correct setting so you can just go right in and watch a DVD without hitting all different settings like Video one and amplifier on, DVD setting. So that's kind of cool. And also the website updates itself like when Xbox 360 came out it automatically updated on the website. So, if you did have an Xbox 360, you can add a button like that on here and it connects, it can actually turn on the Xbox 360 for you. It can control the DVD features on it and all those kind of things. So, it's nice that it has that feature. There's not really any complains about the remote. The only thing I can say is that one of the buttons, I've only had it a few months and it's already starting to stick. I have to press it a couple of times for it to work. Otherwise I definitely recommend the remote. It's a good remote. That's the Logitech Harmony 880.
