It is rated Teen because it has blood and violence and it gives you the great introduction just like the movie and that is one of the best things about it. It plays long just like the movie. Here is the case to it it goes right along with it. It is a Play station 2. On the back you can see some battle scenes in there and it's really nice and neat. My husband really loved it my brother-in-law really loved it. Me on the other hand I not my type of game. I'm not a blood and gangster type of person. I'm more of a strategic strategy type game and that's you know I'm gonna give the rating on this 3 As it is a character based and it does take a long time to play the game. If you like the Lord of the Rings and you liked the story you'll love this game. If you didn't like the Lord of the Rings it's not a game for you but it does follow the movie almost to the tee. If you can play the movie you're going to be able to go through here and do the game itself.
