Love Catch Phrase

out of all the games and toys that we own (and for people in our late 20's we have a few) Catch Phrase is the best. My only complaint is the newest version seems to have a shorter timer and i find myself losing more often. it has to be the timer because i am the best clue giver at Catch Phrase... anyone else think the same thing?

Maybe I play the game wrong but I find the length of the timer to be irrelevant to whether you win or lose. Giving good clues doesn't necessarily mean the game piece won't land in your team's hands as the timer sounds. Obviously, if you're stuck on a word you're working against the clock, otherwise its just chance.
