This review is for the DVD Madagascar by DreamWorks. This is an animated feature and what it is basically is there's four characters that were in a zoo in New York and they end up getting shipwrecked in Madagascar and there first they they love it and then they find out how you know dangerous there real world really is. These these guys have been pampered their whole life in the zoo so they don't know what the real animal world is like and you can imagine the hilarity that in zoos. It's got a lot of great humor. The whole point is they're trying to get stay alive basically and then harms away and they're trying to get back to their zoo their happy little life in the zoo. It's a very funny movie. There's very funny characters in it. A lot of humor. It's very well made. The look is great. Its kind they got a 3D animated look to it. Not like flat animation it's hard to explain but you can have to see it for yourself to see what I mean. If you have kids. This is great for kids and adults. If you have kids or you're an adult that likes animated movies that are funny and have this is one of those movies that has a kind of humor that is for kids but then has like adult humor that will go over the kids had the adults will get and understand which is great. I would definitely recommend this movie. This is Madagascar by DreamWorks and this DVD features are like to move it move it video. It also has the penguin giving a commentary on the movie which is funny. It has a couple of games on it which is very interesting. Has the inside scoops with the behind the crates. Little behind the scenes look at the movie and has another game called crack the code where in you actually help the penguin decide decide for this code and it's got you know some more stuff. The featured feature and stuff in this is mostly for kids I would say because it's a lot of games and fear me out stuff but the movie itself is great. I would definitely recommend it. This is Madagascar by DreamWorks.

Summary
The penguins steal the show. In the sprightly Madagascar , a mid-life crisis inspires Marty the Zebra (voiced by Chris Rock) to escape from his lifelong home, a New York zoo. His equally pampered friends--Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer)--then escape to bring him back. Unfortunately, their attempt at damage control persuades zoo officials that the animals are unhappy, so all four get shipped to an animal preserve in Kenya...only a squad of maniacal penguins change the destination to Antarctica. The quartet end up on an island where, in addition to meeting some hedonistic lemurs, they learn about the food chain--and that Alex is a different link on the chain from the other three. Madagascar doesn't achieve the snappy perfection of a Pixar movie, but it tops most other computer-animated efforts; the collision of friendship and predator instincts makes for an unusually gripping conflict. The vocal performances of the central characters is serviceable, but Sacha Baron Cohen ( Da Ali G Show ) provides topnotch lunacy as the lemur king, and the penguins--voiced mostly by the animators themselves--are the best thing in the movie. --Bret Fetzer
