Press Pass the inside scoop on the latest and the greatest direct from the tradeshow floor. Hi I'm Jen Cody with Expo TV. We're here at CES 2008 and I'm talking with Philip of Magellan about some of their great GPS systems. This is the Maestro 3250. What can you tell us about it? Philip: This is the most feature rich unit that we have. We did everything. It's just packed into this little package. Jen Cody: Right. Philip: And of these things we have your basic navigation. You type in your address it knows where you are it's gonna tell you how to get where you wanna go. In addition to that it's gonna say the name of the street that you're gonna be traveling to. It'll tell you to turn on Grant Avenue. In the middle of a city that gets really important when you got all these streets going in every direction. Jen Cody: Sure sure. Philip: In addition to that it's got live traffic updates so if you have there's some accident that occurred on your route it's gonna route you around that accident and if there's a faster route around it. Jen Cody: Right. Philip: And then we got a Bluetooth on top of it all so if you got a phone that has Bluetooth this can pair up with your phone and it's actually gonna be your speaker phone in your car. Jen Cody: Oh very cool. Philip: And in states with cab regulations against having a cellphone up here Jen Cody: Sure. Philip: It's gonna be more and more useful. Jen Cody: Sure. Philip: And this little unit has voice command so for certain functions you don't even have to touch the unit. You wake it up and you can say Go home and it will route you home. Jen Cody: Perfect. Philip: There is one thing about this unit that I really wanna point out in that we have an exclusive relationship with Triple A. Jen Cody: Yes I was noticing some of that before. Philip: Yeah for those of you who are Triple A members this is gonna be important. If you know the tour book where they rate the restaurants and the hotels we took that entire tour book and we packed it in here. Jen Cody: Oh wow. Philip: So that's coming with us and that's coming with you and it will be updated Jen Cody: It is? Philip: Yeah well maybe. And that will be updated quarterly so it is always up-to-date information. Jen Cody: And what's the retail price. Philip: It's about $399. Jen Cody: $399 and where can you get it? Philip: Oh Best Buy Circuit City Jen Cody: Big box retailers? Philip: Yeah your major retailers. Jen Cody: Awesome can you get it at your Web site? Philip: Yes yes. Jen Cody: Thank you.
