Pros: Carafe pours without dripping
Cons: Grinder is always to fine even on coarsest setting, 1 hour shutoff is too soon, Coffee flavor
The coffee maker introduces a nice convenience feature for the coffee enthusiast. That feature is of course the built in bean grinder. This provides the full bodied flavor of freshly ground coffee beans but without the hassle of using another appliance to grind beans. In my opinion the grinder runs far too long even on the coarsest of the 7 grind settings. This results in grinds slipping through the filter basket and into your coffee cup. The flavor of the coffee is average. I have had better and I have had worse. The 1 hour shutoff timer is a little too short for leisurely consumption. The cleanup of the wet grounds in the filter basket could be more of a hassle then you realized you were in for. Overall the product is a 3/5 and I would look at another brand for my next purchase.
