Hi, I would like to give my opinion on this DVD Player. When we wanted to buy a DVD Player for us, there were plenty with a wide price range. We wanted a DVD Player at an affordable price with a decent performance; this is what we got. This is a Memorex MVD 2042 DVD Player. This Memorex DVD Player has a really good selling feature that is the price. We found this on sale for just $35 against the regular price of $50. I also like the sleek and silver color. This is a perfect size for us; it really fits well in our Entertainment center. It is long enough to fit nicely in the stack and thin enough that it does not take up much room. The two buttons on the front glow blue which looks kind of neat. It's super bright, it's super bright so it is easy to find the eject button in the dark. The directions are extremely simple and go into great detail on how to hook the DVD player. This is a region 1 DVD player and supports DVD Video, Video CD, Compact Disk Digital Video, Compact Disk Digital Audio and KODAK Picture CD. The picture quality is also very good. For a mere $35 we now have a higher quality DVD player than what we have. For me the style, price and features meet my needs and we are very happy. I think every home should posses this item since this would be your companion particularly when you're alone. So get ready to grab one. I like so much and I give it 4 star.
