Missing pixels issue?

shopaholicgrrl posted on April 02, 2008 at 2:06 pm

Is there any issues with the Samsung 226BW monitor missing pixels? I had a monitor just like this one and as soon as I bought it I saw a missing pixel.

Nope! I've never had a problem with it. The picture quality has always been fantastic. Maybe you just got a bad one. Will the store allow you to return it?

No dead, stuck or missing pixels on mine either. I have the 'S' LCD panel, which is an actual Samsung panel. Though it's nearly impossible to tell where panels are made any more these days.

Beyond that, the monitor has fantastic colors, great picture quality, and is a great deal.

There are programs you can get on the net that will 'excersize' your LCD panel and can, depending on the type of pixel problem, brind dead or stuck pixels back to life.
