Hi, I would like to share my views on this excellent product. This is a Motorola 5.8 Gig cordless speakerphone system. This is a MD 680 series phone. It is expandable up to 6 handsets. This basically comes with all the features that we wanted. It has Caller ID, visual call waiting, digital answering system, speakerphone, both in the base and in the handset. This is the base unit. It is desk or wall mountable and offers face-up handset. The handset has intercom feature, 3-way conferencing, vibra call alert and a low battery indicator. It uses nickel metal hydride batteries. These batteries have more power and less memory problems. The sharp blue-black plate display makes it easy to use even with less light. The sleek slender handsets are light and comfortable to hold. The rubber grips along the side make it -- makes it easy to handle and the menu is so simple. You need not read the manual at all. It is a very reliable phone. I have dropped it many times, but it still keeps working fine. Motorola is new to the cordless phone market, but they have made such an excellent product. I would like to give 4 stars to this product.
