Hi. This is a review of My Bloody Valentine . Now this is a weird little movie. It was released in 1981 and obviously if you could see the blood dripping from the title back there. This is a slasher film an '80s slasher film. After Halloween came out every holiday possible was mind for slasher films. So you know you had April Fools' Day and i mean all kinds of stuff and obviously My Bloody Valentine Silent Night Deadly Night you know all that stuff. This is set on Valentines Day and it set in a place called Valentine's Bluff which is a mining town apparently because everybody works in the mine. The reason of movie so weird is there are a few reasons. It was filmed Canada. So everybody got these accents even though it's supposed to take place in America I believe. It's typical '80s slasher in a lot of ways though. And for instance you know i mean it takes place on a holiday but also it revolves around like a mysterious tragedy in the past which is coming back to haunt the people in the present. I would recommend this movie if you're a horror fan. As a horror movie as a slasher movie I give it like 4 And also the cinematography is good the villain is good and the ending is actually genuinely creepy. So as a movie I give it like 2-1 So I'm gonna give it 4 This is Quentin Tarantino's favorite slasher movie. I read it. So if my endorsement doesn't hold any water maybe his will. Pick it up.
