Hi I'd like to tell you about a book by Helen Morrison. Helen Morrison is a doctor. You can tell that she wants you to know she's a doctor because she plasters MD across the front of her book. It's called My Life Among the Serial Killers. I think this book is a bargain book and I really though Wow that's going to be fascinating because I've always been intrigued by the inner workings of a serial killer's mind. What could possibly make somebody perform such heinous crimes commit such heinous crimes. This book really did not answer my questions. Helen Morrison has conducted interviews with with some of the most loathsome criminals over the last few decades including John Wayne Gacy. With him she spent a fair amount of time with actually but she never really gets to the point and tells you where her take it or adds to the debate. She just simply you know replays a lot of interviews for you and talks in a circle and never comes to any conclusions or offers any explanations for why they do what they do they being serial killers. My Life Among the Serial Killers by Helen Morrison. She talks and talks and talks about all of her expertise and all of her experience but Helen you just don't you don't tell us anything that we didn't already know when you read when have started reading this book. Why did they do it? What makes them work? What makes them different from us? Not a lot to offer there. It was disappointing. And if you want to learn more about the crimes themselves and the people who committed them their lives their relationships yeah you'll get you'll get the history in this book but you will not get what she claims that she gives you. I was a little disappointed you maybe too. You'll have to get it and check it out for yourself. My Life Among the Serial Killers by Helen Morrison. 00:01:49:000
