This Linksys Fast Ethernet 10/100 5-port Network Hub (model NH1005, V2) is all you need at under $40 for a 5-port hardwire network hub. Need more? There's also and 8-port version available (which costs more of course), and/or you can daisy chain many of these together. Works seamlessly with any combination of 10 and 100 mbps devices, as well as any combination of Macintosh machines, Windows PCs, and video game consoles.
