Summary
Tar based shampoos have been used for years to help control dandruff causing scalp conditions like psoriasis as well as seborrhea. I have always liked T Gel shampoo as it never felt like a "medicinal" tar-based product. I have personally been more impressed with tar shampoos´ effectiveness for psoriasis, as opposed to seborrhea. Tar quickly helps reduce the production of excess skin cells that result from psoriasis, improving itching and flaking. I always suggest to my patients with blonde, gray or bleached hair not use tar shampoos due to a minor risk of the tar discoloring their hair. Sorry, but the 16 oz bottle is unavailable for international delivery at regular rates. Please contact Customer Service for rates to your area.
