This is the Nikon Coolpix 460 digital camera. This is a really nice small compact digital camera. Some information about it it s got 3x optical zoom 4x digital zoom. It s got a 1.8 inch LCD view. It requires two AA batteries and then it has different things that you can select on the back as to what you re doing when you re taking the pictures and I ll talk about that in just a second. When you turn it on the lens will come out and then you go ahead and you take your pictures. There is a setting where if you want to you just auto flash and if it needs it it ll use it. If it doesn t it won t and of course on the back you can choose whether or not you want it to auto flash or always flash or never flash. You can view the pictures that you ve just taken right on the screen and then either delete them right away or save them on there or of course put them on like a computer. There is a zoom in and out. And what I was talking about before is that there are different features. On the back you can take a movie. So if you turn this little dial over here to the movie camera you can go ahead and take a movie depending on how much memory you have. And right now it says that I could take a 29-minute movie. And so all I would do is I would press the button and then it would begin filming. This is a great extra camera if you re doing something and all of a sudden someone s doing something really great you know a baby or something like that then you could have it on video instead of just taking still pictures. And then of course to stop it you then again just press the take picture button. There s a thing on the wheel for taking portraits if you re at night if it's just scenery if it s someone who s running so there are a lot of different ways to set this camera up to get great pictures. We got this camera a couple of years ago. It s worked out really nice. I like the fact that it s small. It s compact. I like the fact that it just kind of goes in and it's just like I said compact. It was about $150 and I believe we got it at Target but you can get it on the Nikon Web site Best Buy Wal-Mart anything like that. It s been a really great camera. I would recommend it. It does take a long time after you take a picture to then be ready to take another picture. So if you re wanting to take many in a row it s not the best for that but it is a great little compact camera that will work well just for pretty much about anything.
