I have to say, this camera ROCKS! It is great for a beginner or a professional, as it is easy to use, yet it takes great pictures. Even though it only has a 6 mega-pixel sensor, the sensor is bigger, making the pictures better. It is very quick at taking pictures (up to 2.5 pictures per second). It costs $450-$500, but it comes with the kit lens for an added bonus. This is a great time to buy this camera, considering that most Digital-SLR cameras cost about $2000 in the early 2000's!

Hi there. I recently bought a new camera and I don t regret it at all. It s so amazing that I don t how I can explain everything in a small video opinion but I ll do my best to point out some main features. First it s called the Nikon D40 and it is a digital SLR camera which means that there s different aspects of it but it takes pictures quicker and much more higher quality than a point-and-shoot small camera. And it has a screen except it s a 2.5-inch screen and here is an example. I took a picture of flowers. See it s nice and bright and here s how quick the picture takes. You can take multiple pictures. All right now it cost $450 and it comes with this kit lens which is an 18 to 55mm which you would use for most of your shooting for every single day. And another thing I like about this is that the battery it lasts a long time. You can take about 500 pictures for every charge you do. And it s big for what you re used to but for a professional camera this is not very expensive or big and it s very light. This is a top pick and even $450 for this the images are so worth it. They re priceless. I d really recommend you take a look at this. I got it at Circuit City but maybe you d wanna check it out before you buy it because just to make sure it feels right in your hands and other adjustments because there are many other cameras like this but I d really recommend this Nikon D40. Okay bye Expo TV.
