This is the first camcorder I have purchased. As a beginning user, I have found it very easy to use. The feature set is excellent. The sound and image quality are great, and PC conversion is easy for do-it-yourself editing.

Hi my name is Andrew I'm doing a review on this Panasonic Camcorder and the model number is PV-GS300 it's been out for a little bit over a year now and it has the 3CCD technology which is suppose to have better color quality we've been very satisfied with that. This model also comes with a wide screen option we don't have the wide screen function on right now but you can see the screen is set up for that it records in the wide screen format as well. There is an optical image stabilizer which is really nice it does cut a lot of the shaking that you do when you're filming and so it's really nice for amateur camcorder users. There is also a 3.2 mega pixel capability for still shots we have our separate digital camera that we use for most still shots. It's nice to at least have an option to do all the ____ if have a good moment for a still shot. All in all a great value this is my first camcorder that we had and we've been very satisfied with it if you are more advance user that wants a lot of fancy features this is probably not quite what you're looking for but for beginner user that wants a really quality picture but does not really wanna mess around with any custom settings this is going to be a really good option for you.
