Okay so right now I wanted to talk about the Panasonic PV GS31. This was the very very first camera that I purchased after sort of developing a passion for film making. So right now it would be very inexpensive. I actually purchased it well used it was like new and very inexpensive camera. It's a very nice camera although nowadays it would be a little outdated you know I bought it about 6 months ago and now we are moving into HD . I have a new HD camera and you know it's moving out of style but still it's a very nice camera 26 times off the ___ zoom and wasn't about a 100 or 80 digital. It has all your basic features; it records on a mini DV cassette. The lens is about 20 mm if we power this thing on it has a cool start features so it comes on very quickly. You have your record button and you can take pictures as well as moving images and you can view definitely view your footage and it connects to your PC the USB. Now in addition to connecting to your PSCV and USB you can also connect using fire wire to your TV port so that's pretty cool. You can connect both PC and MAC which is definitely useful. It has manual zoom as well as auto very cool camera nice screen you use this in SD card where you can take your images and placed them ___ to that card. It has a screen that's about 2 inches but is a very small it records in standard depth. It records at wide angle and one of the things I do not like about this camera was the actual eye. It extends but it's stationary it does not move up or down at all. And so you basically have to put your face against this eye and another thing that I didn't like about this camera was the way that they actually constructed the battery or the receiver where the battery it attaches. This battery is looks actually very large in compares into the camera that's because I bought an additional 5 hour battery. But the standard battery is like 1 It zooms pretty steady but it doesn't have that steady zoom feature on the side like Sony camera would and there are some other things that would make this camera obsolete for example Sony has moved into the touch screen which is cool and then you know their standard telephoto lens controls on the side as well as the pause and record. But it still has you know the menu and the different features on this camera that make it a nice camera but it is more of a basic camera. I suggest to someone who just wants to purchased an inexpensive camera to film sort of home type movies. So that's about it this is the Panasonic PVGS31.
