This is my Panasonic Mini DV Camcorder. Unfortunately I can't really point out every thing about it considering if I do that I waste the shot. But here is just some info on it for you. The zoom that it comes is a 20X optical zoom from the lens and 800 times digital zoom which is actually kind of useless because what you need to zoom on 800 times and hope that comes in but it has this nice mini DV screen there shows how much time is left on you tape shows how much time you've used on the how far up you are the daily time settings. The Z mic means that it's zoom right wherever you zoom in the mic gets more sensitive to catch what you're focus to auto is just the auto focus idea I'm sure you know how the ___ kinda works. The other features this has is it has a stereo speaker set up so that whenever you are recording you can differentiate between left and right of what you are recording. Other nice small things about it are it's TV out jacks so you can hook it straight to your TV while you are going at it also has USB for light feed and fire wires so that you can transfer the what you have recorded onto a computer. The USB I might have said that quickly it's just for life feed on light. The features that this has is there's a backlight function which whatever you're not focus on has a light going behind it to make it look like it is a small lens so it's kinda of effect so what's in focus. There are also magic pix setting which makes it so that a dark room appears to be lit. This isn t very good because it makes the shots it makes too bright sometimes just makes it slow and sluggish it doesn't really make for good for good recording. And of course there's like fade outs and things like that you can set up for fade out takes still and things like that. This camcorder is actually very reliable. I'm not really sure about the durability of it. I haven't drop it I'm not trying to drop it I'm not gonna try to do that kind of thing with it. But I can say that it takes a nice quality video as your evidence now is your watching the very video I'm shooting with these as I speak with this camcorder and it's obviously there's a battery power it comes with the cords so that you can plug it on the hall and run the battery through it. The only regret I have is that whenever you have the battery in the charger and you have the camcorder plug to the cord the battery doesn't charge it only charges whenever the cord to the camcorder is unhooked. That's pretty much the only complains I have about it. It takes many DV tapes obviously and it's actually I can kinda have a pretty good bargain but you kinda have to look for that it's not guarantee that you're kinda find this at great price you kinda look for that but it is out there and I just kinda say this is a great camera as shown by all the expo TV feds I've created thus far it's kind of a trial and error process and this has helped me along in getting it down.
