ExpoTV has thousands of reviews from people just like you!
Hi guys today I'm actually gonna be reviewing a video camera for you. This is the Panasonic SDR-H200; this is a hard drive camcorder. So this camcorder suppose to recording the DVDs or mini DVs or VHSC it actually records directly to a hard drive with camcorder which was a ____ points for me because you don't have to worry about buying and replacing all that media. So I record it directly into the hard drive here and I can dump on my computer and that point I can edit it. I can decide if I want to burn it to a DVD. You actually also have the capability if you buy to you can purchase a DVD burner and hook this up directly up to the DVD burner and without having to hook up it to a computer. You can also just go ahead and burn your DVDs straight from here if that's what you would like to do. You can also view the movies directly you can have this directly up to your TV. And whenever I decide to purchase a camcorder I had to make some decisions. I decided on a Panasonic brand because most reviews and most people have use both of them so that Sony and Panasonic where very comparable. The only thing that you are looking in difference in it is the price point and I found that the price point was much higher on the Sony but I didn't feel like the actual quality was gonna be better on the Sony. Also some of the pluses to the Panasonic has it has a joy stick controller. I really like that because as I'm filming moving from scene to scene I use this joy stick controller as oppose to touch screen on the Sony really like that feature but I'm not a big fun of the touch screen that the Sony has. I was always worry it's gonna break something then joy stick is much more convenient for me. Also Panasonic has as you see on here the OIS that's the optical Image Stabilization. If you have a problem with shaky hands or you just tend to not unable to keep your hands quite steady then that's gonna be the best step for you that's actually the best thing that is on the market currently as far as image stabilization. So you will really like Panasonic OIS. Now specifically to the SDR-H200 I was torn between this and I want the other Panasonic card drives on the market I'm sorry. This actually also takes still pictures but the still pictures that it takes are the 3.1 mega pixel body. Now obviously I have other cameras to take still pictures but it's nice that 3.1 mega pixel is an okay cam quality. The other cameras so comparable quality let say a cellphone so it was useless so it's nice to have that. This also has an exterior light if I'm shooting at night which is a big plus for me. I really like that option of having the light and being able to shot ___ those types things. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a video camera that you'd go with the SDR-H200 it's gonna have everything that you'd like in it. It also has this 3CCD that was the biggest selling point for me because you're gonna have more vibrant colors that you'll gonna have in lot of the other video cameras so again that's the Panasonic SDR H200 I highly recommend it thanks.

The Panasonic SDR-H200 3CCD Hard Disk Drive/SD Palmcorder Camcorder is perfect for recording long events. It features extended recording for extended shooting fun. The internal 30 GB hard disk drive holds as much video data as about 22 8-cm DVD discs. That means you can record for around 27 hours...
