Hi Shannon here Got a new Philips DVD player for Christmas; it is the DVP5982 it's the name and the model number and everything. It's a really good DVD player. I'll tell you a little bit about it. As you can see here it's right here it's very thin; and so that's kinda nice if you wanna move it which we really don't need to (we have one upstairs). But if we did it's portable. It has metal buttons on the front. This is a Standby There's a USB direct cable so if you're gonna play video games or watch movies or pictures from your camera (as I have right here) you just plug it right here and it goes right in. I think the greatest thing about this DVD player though is the remote. It is the perfect size and the buttons are so easy to read and to find. My last DVD player like the menu button was the smallest button down here in the corner. Well when you first turn on the DVD and you wanna get past all the ads and commercials and previews and everything you push Menu. Menu here is right up here beside the Power button which I love that. It's easy to push the Next button; your fingers don't dwell on them. I just really like the size also of it; it's not too skinny it's just the right size to hold. So to me this is one of the greatest things. The DVD player itself is really really good. We've enjoyed it. It worked really well so I would give it a four out of five stars. I can't really think of any problems we've had with it or any downsides to this DVD player. It was about $80 at Best Buy so it's not gonna be one of your most expensive DVD players. Of course it's not the cheapest either. So it's kind of right in between but a very good DVD player. So it's the Philips DVP5982; get yourself one today
