My name is Angelo Melendez, and i am doing a project for my Major at TCI College . I need, if possible to find a top recommendation for a student on a DSLR nikon, also to identify a top of the line NIKON camera with quotes for both. In Addition, i will be starting a photography class for me second semster and will need to purchase one of these camera's. If i can get this answer you will be helping me a great deal Thanks.

Angelo,

When you say that you need a Nikon DLSR for a student, a recommendation will depend upon what type of budget you have for a Digital SLR camera. As for a top of the line Nikon SLR, I would have to say that the D3X made by Nikon is the very best that they have to offer, with a price of $7,300 for only the body of the camera, no lens. Check out http://imaging.nikon.com/products/imaging/lineup/digitalcamera/index.htm fro a full line of Nikon digital SLR Cameras.

this is a viable option. It is about 1000 dollars and takes amazing pictures. If you want less expensive i would recomend something below d80 and the d90 is an amazing camera that is one step nicer than the d80
