This is Synthetic's DOT 3 Brake Fluid. I've used it for many projects. I use it in my brakes, I use it for my clutch fluid, I use it for my car's steering fluid. You can use it to refill your jacks in the garage, and your other hydraulic device. What's convenient about it is that it's 32 fluid ounces. For those of you who use the metric system it's 942 milliliters, and what's nice about that is that you don't have to buy four kinds of brake fluid when you're doing a brake job, or bleeding your clutch, or changing out a car steering pump. You just buy one. So you can't lose the other one in the garage or what not. The cap is right in the middle of the container, which is not so convenient. Usually you want to offset the one side, so you don't spill when you're pouring it into your brake reservoir or whatever other reservoir you're using. So you have to have some hand-eye coordination in order to pour it correctly into your reservoir. Besides that I have no complaints.
