Hey Expo this is Conner again. This time I have a review of the brilliant Resident Evil 4 for the Nintendo GameCube. Resident Evil 4 is made by CapCom the fourth game in the classic Resident Evil series as you can tell by the title. It first debuted on the GameCube and it continued to be ported to a number of other systems including the Play Station 2 PC and Wii. I've heard people say that the Wii version is the best. You can use the Wii controller for anything and the PC version is not good. Usually the PC versions of ports are the best versions but not in this case. It didn't do a very good job of porting to the PC apparently. So now if we can get this going we can check out some Resident Evil 4. There's a very very substantial single player campaign. There's no multiplayer to speak of but there's a mode of mercenaries mode where you can fight in a death match-type situation or just kill as many enemies as you can during a set amount of time you can add bonus time to that time. It's very difficult. I don't really play it that much. I played through the single player campaign around three or four times. Interesting aspect is that at the end you can continue on with your same saved on your new game so you can have all of the weapons that you've collected over the course of the game at the beginning of the game. It kind of makes it a lot easier clearly but it's a lot of fun because that way you're able to collect the most powerful weapons in the game that you really can't collect on your first play through. It's visually stunning even now even with Xbox 360 Play Station 3 available. It still looks really great. It's probably the best-looking GameCube game I'd have to say though Metroid Prime and the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess certainly give it a run for its money. If you're looking for a great epic action game with great enemy AI and great shooting mechanics then Resident Evil 4 is the game for you. The only GameCube you need to play this game it's that simple. It's a very long game 15 to 20 hours so it's substantial and it's cheap by now probably like $15 or $20. You can get it for probably less even if you look hard. Yeah it's a really great game and it'll be one of your favorites if you buy it. So I really recommend that you pick up Resident Evil 4.
