This is the game Risk made by Parker Brothers. It's recommended for ages 10 and up and it's for 2-6 players. Here's the direction book and there's actually a few different ways you can play this game. I won't go into all of them I'll just say the basic goal of each one. This is if you want to play Missions. This is a I never really played that version of it but the idea of the general game is you get different territories throughout the whole world and that each player will basically get that territory. And then you have your pieces. These are like your little board guys actually and the idea is that if you control a territory you can attack someone else's territory. So now what gets me about this game and that really annoys me is that when you attack someone you can attack the three guys and [unintelligible] and they can defend with two guys and you can do less. But you can attack with two guys or they can defend with just one. But basically you role [unintelligible] dice you get and whoever rolls the highest wins that particular guy which I don't find very fun I think if you're going to do a war game they make far better videogames now so I would just stick with videogames for any type of wargame. There's plenty of fun board games that you can play. This one it just seems overly complicated and I never really had fun playing it so you know I wouldn't recommend this game but once again this is Risk and it's put up by Parker Brothers.
