I'm going to do a review of a video game called Rock Band for the XBox 360. Rock Band is developed by Harmonix which is the original creator of the Guitar Hero Series. The game like the name says it's called Rock Band. The game comes with a guitar the drums and the microphone. Now in my opinion the guitar that the game gives you it's still __________ and I think that that guitar is like a piece of trash because it's not that good. my friend had the guitar for about 2 weeks and it broke I guess so as soon as I got mine I immediately played with it; it felt really loose and not that really durable so I sold mine. So for this review I will be using my Les Paul guitar instead. Anyways I'm going to be going over the basic features of the game and then I'm going to go over the instruments afterwards. When you first start Rock Band they're going to ask you to create a character and that's really cool because in all of the other Guitar Hero Series games they give you preset characters but in this one you can make your own. The first option they'll give you is between a male or a female so in this case we'll go with a male; you can choose his name so I'll just give him a name like Spark I guess. Hometown where you come from. Attitude. Attitude is basically what your character is going to do onstage so if we give him a rock attitude he'll look more rock. If we give him a punk attitude he'll like jump around do random punk stuff I guess. The physique you can change his weight to make him a little bit buffer or make him skinnier and the height makes him taller or shorter obviously. You have the different face type apply whatever face you want. Eye color skin color hair there's a lot like 50 different hair styles in this game so I'm sure you can find one that fits you or what you like. So after you have created your character they give you an option like random stuff to wear. Here's one of my already-created characters. As you can see the game categorizes there like attire into punk metal gothic rock or random accessories. In this case my guy has like some business suit like with a tie and jeans. You have a lot of different variations such as some camouflage and stuff random stuff yeah you have a lot actually so that's basically one of the newest stuff in the game they have and also they have a new feature in the game called Band Tour like multiplayer. Basically you're making a band with like a few trends and you tour all the world which is a really cool innovation to the campaign or storyline whatever you call it. The first instrument I want to be going over in rock band which the microphone right here. Now my voice isn't that great obviously and I can't sing so you're going to have to forgive me on this one. I'm just going to give you a quick demo of how the singing works. To me singing is hard because I'm not a singer and to all of my friends who play the game online also nobody sings because it's hard to sign you real need talent to sing but if you can sing in real life that's the good thing. Anyways that's the screen right there on the bottom they're going to show the lyrics and as the lyrics flash you have to sing with the same pitch as the lyrics get hit. (Music playing on the background). That's a small demonstration of the microphone. Some songs are easier than other songs but some songs are really difficult like Saying It Ain't So. You have some more songs that you come literally in the game and they're actually quite difficult to say. The next instrument I'm going to be going over is the drums. As you can see these are the drums right here; you have four pads on top and you have a base pedal on the bottom there. The drums it's probably one my favorite instruments to play in Rock Band behind the guitar. Anyway I'm going to give you guys a small demonstration of how the drum works. This is my demonstration of the drums and the song is called Danny California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. (Music plays on background). There's my demonstration of the drums and the next instrument is going to be the guitar. Here's my demonstration of the guitar the song is called Enter Sandman by Metallica (Music plays on background) it's one of my favorite songs and online this song is incredibly __________ friends. The part of the intro is kind of boring so they kind of skipped on the guitar. __________ so I'm just going to skip to the guitar __________ more intense parts of drums. The song is presented by Metallica on the guitar. I would say that the song it would be actually pretty easy but the hard part is at the notes are rectangular and they're kind of smaller to hit. There is my review of Rock Band for the Xbox 360; the game I give it a perfect 5 stars because honestly it's a really fun game. It doesn't look fun because you play it by yourself but if you bring three friends over you can play the base guitar drums and singing it's really fun a great game and multiplayer game. The price it's like $150-170 depending where you buy it; it's kind of expensive but if you can afford it I definitely suggest you buy this game because it is really fun. There is my review for Rock Band.
