Hi this is a review for the Alpha Omega Elite Car Seat System. This is a convertible car seat which means you can use it from birth up till when the child is older actually at 200 pounds as a booster. When it is rear-facing in the car that is when you need to use it from five to 22 pounds. Forward-facing where you string the car seat seatbelt through the back and buckle the car seat in it is between 22 pounds and 40 pounds and you use it as a booster seat for an older child for a 40 to 100 pounds you string the car seat seatbelt through the side rings and it will come across them to protect the child. Some of the nicer features of this is that it does offer a reclining system. You pull the red thing at the front and it reclines back or you can have it in the upright mode. This back adjusts to when it is a small baby you can put it all the way down and as an older child you can put it up. It did take a while for these to open up. When we first got it it was very very hard to make that move up and down. It did come with a cup holder that you can slide onto the side. We threw ours out because it made it so bulky on the side that it went into his bother s face and as any parent knows that is not good in the car. There was a pillow that fell close to the top but it kept falling off and we lost it somewhere in the park where we did not even realize that it had fallen out of the car. Let us take a closer look at some of the features. Here you can see the five-point harness buckle system which is really the best thing to buckle a child in. It latches in the front and it has two that latch down in the bottom here. The nice thing about this one is it does have three spots in the bottom to move this bottom buckle out if the child gets older but these because of the system where this raises and lowers you do not ever have to rethread these upper straps. You just move this whole unit up as the child gets bigger. This Alpha Omega Elite Car System made by Safety First is a good buy at $200 for any parent looking to get the travel system that will last through the three stages of rear-facing forward-facing and booster seat.
