Hello today I ll be reviewing the Samsung LN40A550 LCD television. I will pan the camera around so you can actually look at the TV as I talk you through the review. Again this is a 40-inch LCD TV. It s of course made by Samsung. It is a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen. It s a full 1080p resolution so it s full HD newest latest and greatest technology that s out. It has three HDMI inputs a USB 2.0 input 30 000:1 contrast ratio and various other audio It was on sale for $1 249.99 which I consider to be a very good price for a 1080p 40-inch television. It has a very very clear picture as you can see. I currently have it hooked to my PC acting as a very large PC monitor. Obviously it can be used for watching standard and high definition television as well DVD movies games etc. You can do pretty much anything with this screen as you would with any other television. Only thing that I would recommend that they improve on is the black piano finish around the border. It s very very nice as you can see; sleek shiny design but it shows fingerprints really badly. So if you ever go and touch it to maybe adjust it on the wall or if you ve not actually mounted it on the wall and on a stand and you touch the screen it shows fingerprints pretty badly. I want you to get a quick look at the remote here that goes with it as well. It s a pretty standard remote. The keys do illuminate. It has an on It has nice big numbers that are easy to see; large volume and channel control buttons. Everything on the remote is fairly self-explanatory user-friendly so I do like the remote. It does have some controls on the side. This is gonna be the right side. You re not gonna be able to read them on the camera because it s barely legible when you re looking at it. I guess that could be an improvement as well to let these control button read out to be a little bit more. But you ve got a source button menu button volume up and down channel up and down and actual power button for the television. Again this is the Samsung LN40A550 flat screen television. I give it two thumbs up and highly recommend it.
