Samsung A680
ExpoTV has thousands of reviews from people just like you!
Hello, Expo TV viewers out there. I'm going to be reviewing the Samsung A680. I'm going to give you just a quick run down first, and then give you my opinion about it. The Samsung A680 weighs about 3.5 ounces. This color is basically the silver design. The standby time is 168 hours. The talk time is 180 minutes on the phone. The display can be English or in Spanish. The, it's a digital video camera basically, holds both components that adjust the video camera. Here is your digital video component. The antenna comes out, it's external antenna. Battery's very small. Sleek. It holds about 300 names and numbers on the system. It also has voice interactions where you could actually, instead of pressing a few numbers, you could actually talk to it and tell it that I want to call someone whether it be your wife, you husband, or whoever. Display resolution is 128x160, and it has a, a 16-bit def color. The good thing about this is that it's very stylish, has an integrated camera and video camera, and also the voice activated menu. And it has analog roaming, although the roaming is not very beneficial when you get, get charged out the ying-yang for that. The bad part is that it holds average audio quality; it's not the best in the world. The bottom line is that basically you have a video phone, it has, and you could load up games on here. It comes pre-built with some games already installed, which aren't the best 'cuz it only lets you play one level or two levels, then you have to pay for the rest. Be very careful with that. When you buy these phones, they automatically come with the, the internet addition, so you could actually go online, connect to the internet. But be careful if you have nephews and nieces. They can actually also go on the internet and download their favorite game then play them on this system. I actually had a bad experience. We actually had to call Sprint and they actually took care, took care for us, which was great. The antenna is a little bit flimsy, and if you can see it, it's a little bent out of shape. One time I accidentally bent it a little bit and it just stays that way. So that's one downside to this. The [inaudible] access is great. I have my alarm system right now going off at 9 o'clock just as a reminder for me, which is pretty cool. You could set up about two alarms on this system. It has, right in the front; it has a little LCD screen giving you the time, the date, how many bars you have, and the strength. If you open the component, there's a little camera here so you can actually click on the camera button, you see there, and they can view you viewing me, right? It's pretty cool. And then if you close it, you could also still have a camera, and if you press this button here, it actually can capture what's on the screen. So, and then it puts it on the screen for you. One of the cool things about this is that if someone calls you, there's a way to put their face showing, their face. So if someone calls you and it's your wife or your husband, you could actually have their face show up on the screen, and that's really cool. That's it for now. You could actually buy these things, for free, if you go with the Sprint service. All right. Thank you. See ya.
