There's no control on the front. The controls are here on the side and it just has a power on switch channel up and down and speed up and down. It does come with the remote and that is all the controls are and strangely enough the remote does not come with batteries so you have to buy some triple A batteries to go with it. And on the back it has the jacks that you can plug in VCRs and DVDs. It's got plenty of jacks back here for that but it does look and you can also take the base off. You can take this off and get your wall mount and put it in the back and it's very light and it's very thin. You use cable like I do. What you have to do is make sure that you have a digital signal so that you can enjoy the HDTV programs but this is a nice looking TV and it's made by Sanyo again and it's Model DP26746 26-inch. You can get this at Walmart for under $600 now.
