Screen Scratching Issue

gospeedracer12 posted on March 28, 2008 at 3:38 pm

I have this ipod and have the issue of the screen being scratched very easily without even trying. Is there any good accessories for this ipod to prevent this from happening anymore?

Yes, there are "skins" you can buy at the apple store for your screen. They work great and aren't very much money at all. If it is an iphone or ipod touch I would warn you that if you do use a "skin" that it isn't as sensitive to your touch as before, but it is better than having a scratched screen.

Absolutely. You can get a screen protector that is a plastic film you place on the screen to protect it. The plastic film may get somewhat scuffed, but it's not nearly as bad as it would've been without it and not nearly as bad as having the actual screen be scuffed. I've done this to several different ipods and it works great.

Another idea is to get one of those protectors that is like a wallet where you insert the ipod and then flip down a "lid" that covers the screen.

I use the Ipod leather wallet-like protector. Works well and protects all around the ipod.

I think you can buy a case or protector or something like that at best buy.

your best bet would be the invisible shield.

it might look expensive, for just a plastic film.. but, i purposely tried to scratch my ipod with keys and nothing happened.
