This is the Mattel See n Say. It is one of those toys that you think of when you had when you were a little kid. It s one of those just traditional original toys that every kid needs to have. But to be honest when we started looking for one we thought they were kind of hard to find and were kind of surprised. We wanted to get one when my daughter started talking more started imitating us more and just started becoming more curious to everything around her. We thought it d be fun for her to see the different animals and be able to start to learn to recognize them and the sounds they make so it was just something that we wanted to find for her. When we were little you had to pull a string to activate it and now it s an easy lever motion. At first I was the one pulling the lever then she started to pull it while I held on to give it some leverage and now she s pretty much able to do it on her own at one and a half so she can just keep pulling the lever and listening to whatever it comes to or you can go to the specific animals like if you point the arrow with the duck and you pull the lever the duck says Quack quack. It has kind of an electronic sound in the audio which doesn t completely appeal to me but I guess that s how these toys have always been. I do think that they are fun for kids and I do think that it is one of those toys that you just need to get. We have had fun with it so far and I hope you can find one too.
