Great budget studio headphones.

Pros: great sound reproduction, comfortable foam padding, nice sound isolation

Cons: somewhat small/ cramping headphones, bass is amplified a bit too much

Over the ear bulky headphones are slowly being phased out in favor of earbuds for ipods and mp3 players. However, for recording and true audiophiles, nothing can beat the quality of a good set of ear cans. These Sennheiser hd 202 phones have a great sound reproduction across the spectrum and have a nice boosted bass. These only cost me about $20 and I would highly recommend them at that price point. These will easily trump any earbud that costs up to $100 in terms of the large soundstage that these provide as well as the clarity of individual voices that these reproduce.
