Hi my name is Tony and today I'm looking at the Sennheiser HD 497 headphones. Now I guess the best thing I can say about these headphones is they have excellent sound quality. They have an excellent sound quality almost a professional great sound quality and I mean unbeatable for just the sound that you get for the price roughly about 45 dollars for these headphones. And if that's what you're looking for these are the headphones to buy but these aren't your everyday headphones. For one the cord is approximately ten feet long which is a good or bad thing. If you're going like walking out on the street you don't want this ten foot cord. But if you're sitting around the house playing video games or something or just listening to music relaxing it's good coz then you have some freedom in that respect. Also the headphones are collapsible. They're not really portable. I mean they're just wall to your head but this is pretty much the size that you have to store them in and with the whole cord so kind of bulky a little bit cumbersome. But again with the size it's extremely comfortable. i mean you put these on and you could wear them for hours. It s just large soft padding. It's open it doesn't block sound incoming sound so it won't block out other noises which depending what you're using them for could be good or bad. But again just exceptional sound quality and extremely comfortable more than four hours on _____. So if that what you need them for they're great but if not I mean they're not you're all purpose headphones so I wouldn t recommend them in every situation but I definitely would recommend them for the sound quality and for the price. But I again for a 45 dollars so it's up to you your choice. Thank you.
