Shooting in Black and White?

Does this camera shoot in black and white too or just color photos?

Yes, the camera shoots in B&W as well as sepia tones. It very quickly changes from color to B&W through the digital options menu.

While this camera can shoot in different black and white settings as well as sepia tones, it is much easier to turn your color images to black and white using any free software that came with your computer.

One thing to keep in mind, is that if you take or change a picture on your camera to black and white or sepia, you lose all of the color information on the image. However, one nice thing about the D80 is the fact that it will make a copy of the color image, so you don't lose that data.

It can but i recomend taking them in color and they can easily be switched
