Hi my name is Richard and you're now looking Shures E2Cs end ear headphones. Now when you first look at these they definitely look very geeky and well I actually fell in love with them but I'm not too impressed by them. I thought there -- There is a gold box down Amazon. I've earned 40 bucks. These are 40 bucks and it has this pretty _____ headphones but they're normally 100 dollars so I -- there's so many great reviews on the web about these headphones and I thought okay. I mean I'm always looking for something that's noise cancellation and something I can work out with so I though I'd try them out and if not _____ for trying just pay the restocking fee. It's actually very interesting way to put the headphones. Instead of just sticking in your ear and start running or whatever you're trying to do it will stick in your ear really deep inside I can barely hear myself now though and you can wrap the wire around your ear and then do on both side and then pull these little plastic tube all the way top to tighten it up so pretty much you're looking like -- your headphones are looking like these basically. It's kinda weird very weird looking compared to normal headphones. But okay I may have exaggerated on the pain a little. If you -- there are four different ear -- no. There's actually six different type of ear plugs you can choose from and I guess they just didn't fit me well but these are the best -- the most comfortable in my opinion the black ones. There s like an orange phone type. There's also clear silicon -- I don't know what kind of material it is but those are pretty hard in my opinion. If you -- one bad thing about these ear buds is they can come off for example if you sweat a lot like I do they can pop off and then you have to go to Amazon again and pay 20 dollars for replacement ones although you do get I think ten extra ones which is great. Okay the good things about these headphones as it come with case I always love headphones that come with the case coz I hate wrapping around my iPod coz it's very unorganized and they can break easily. It's a very thick long cord so it's very hard to break these headphones. If you ever step on the -- it won't break. I really doubt unless you really pull really hard at it. And they are pretty good to listen to. They are not really noise cancellation. They're called sound isolation so basically they just -- like with active noise cancellation like the with the ones at boast I believe they block out the regular noise but you can still hear other people talk. With these headphones you can't really hear yourself you can't hear anything surrounding you at all which can be a good thing but it could be a bad thing if you're walking down like a street and then a car is coming you can't hear the horn. Actually I can't hear the bus honk at me when I was wearing these headphones. So if you're looking for some really headphones that make the surroundings really quiet yeah these are really good. I definitely use these on the bus a lot coz the bus is very noisy and then everyone is talking. I like to quiet the surroundings with these headphones. Now some bad things about these headphones is the L shape. Some for example it will _____ the iPhone unless you get 3.5 millimeter headphone adapter. Some if you have an iPod or a Zune with a case this L shape ti will not fit in there. Like I previously mentioned they are a little uncomfortable sometimes. If you get used to it I guess they can -- the feeling can disappear. But ones you take them out it's a whole new feeling again. If you're planning on using these for jogging if you run a lot they tend to pop out if you sweat a lot. I always adjust them and then once there's so much sweat I just can't put them back in coz they will not stick coz it's so wet. I guess that's my problem. I sweat too much. Now if you do sweat a lot I wouldn't recommend these headphones. Like many reviewers say there's a lack of bass with these headphones. Unless you turn the volume really high then you can feel the bass. But if you're like me -- the reason why I got this type is I wanna listen to the volume at low volume so I don't break my ears and block out the surrounding noise. If I listen to a low volume I cannot hear the bass whatsoever. Another thing oh yeah this pretty much cancels all the noise that okay if you wanna experience how quiet these are basic put your hands over your ears and talk to yourself or just listen to yourself breathe. When I'm running I can hear myself breathe when I'm jogging with these headphones. Although I cannot hear the surroundings like the music or people talking I can hear myself breathe I can hear myself pounding on the treadmill. It can be annoying but once you get used to it I guess you get used to it. So if you're looking for headphones that block out all the noise around you and you _____ little uncomfortable in these then yeah get these headphones but definitely wait for sale coz 100 dollars for these headphones I think is ridiculous. If you --forty dollars is a little too expensive in my opinion _____ coz I'm just cheap but I just don't think you should pay more than 50 dollars for headphones or even 40 dollars. And this is my review of Shure E2C and my name is Richard thanks.
