It's not overly big I know when my dad first got a camcorder it was super big you can't like pretty much put on your shoulder but this is one you can kinda have in the palm in your hand and walk around. It's got a nice little strap here that you can adjust to make it fit a little bit tighter around your ____ loser here so I kinda maneuver. But it's really cool and it's got a nice cover on the front and what also happens here is that it's got a little window that pops up so you can actually right here view what you are recording on the front here. And to turn it on there's a lever back here you have choices between going to your VCR so if you plug in to your VCR you can use that you also got the off or charge which is in the center right here you can plug this into the wall and it will charge while you are just sitting there or you can have it on camera so what I'm gonna do is I wanna put on camera and you see it turn on the clock set and have a little window here. Now what's nice about it is that you can actually flip it around and if you taking it like you can flip it around and the person can see right side up even though when you have it like this it's ____ for you it turns automatically and flip through side up this way. It's got a lot lof options for you it's got a nice zoom for you. And it also has right back here if you lift up this thing here and if you push eject you can see how it ejects the cassette tape now it does take cassette that's the one downfall it's a high MP cassette. So you do it a couple of this on hand if you're gonna make videos but you just put in there and you push it and it will automatically suck it back in again everything ____ and you put it back down and what was on the top here is actually what you use to record or to view your item. You can either use this to review it on the VCR by using the lever around this side change the VCR or you can just view right on your viewfinder here it's pretty nice. I notice too you can also video just by looking through this without having your side window open that does kill the batteries super quick that's one big downfall of it. But if you're looking right through here you gonna see them black and white there's no color involved with this viewfinder. The color comes when you opened up the side wall like that. Then you got like fader here where you can fade out the picture to like a black color you can manually focus by pushing this button and adjust them with this. You can have black backlight where you push this button the light red up here turns on and you got night vision that appears over here on and off so you're taping at night and you just flip it and use stuff in night vision. And the last feature I like about this I haven't had much time to play with it just recently coz I was trying to figure out way to get this on to the computer to actually make my videos with this thing instead of the digital camera is this little button right here this little adoption it allows you to connect this to the computer with a USB port for USB screening. You have to have certain software the disc that this comes with the actual camera so you load it all up and you've actually screen it right on your computer and the picture and I haven't figured out a way to get _____ like I said I haven't have chance to play with it. But I would go ahead and give this Sony digital 8 Steady shot digital effects camera a try because you know if Sony makes good products and this is no let down for you.
