Hi today I'm reviewing the very camera which makes it possible to all of my reviews on Expo TV. This is the Sony TRV33 it is a mini DV camcorder and I really like this one and I've been using it for a while now. The things I like about it is it's mini DV format it's a high quality format it has digital output so I can use the fire wire connector to directly connect to my computer to upload all my videos and I can also attach it to my DVD recorder so I can actually turn my video tapes into the DVDs and couple of other things I like about is it has 69 or 43 aspect ratios so when I record this things I can actually because I now have a wide screen TV. I can actually use the 16 You don't seem to see a degraded quality at the count of that. Some other things that are handy about this I'll show right now we'll flip this around and you can see the screen on this which allows you to turn it around and see what's going on from afar. It also is you can fold this in so that it actually folds into the camera itself or you can flip it back now so that I can see it again. You can see it's recording indicator right here. The one thing that you'll see on this that is added is this particular device is a wide angle lens. This is one ___ that I have of this TRV33 is that it's area that you can actually see out there how wide it is the width of how many people here can get in that kind of thing is actually really narrow so I bought a wide angle lens in order to get more in. Now the positive thing about that is that this is actually it actually fits there you can actually have it actually has threads in order to add that so that you can actually add either telephoto or wide angle lens to it. Since using that I've seen where it does actually have some distortion to it. But for the most part it's really works well for a lot of that. It also has a hot shoe over here so you can actually have a light that you can use to actually eliminate your subject better. It works pretty well in low light and it also has the option of doing the night vision kind of thing so it uses infra red. It has a memory stick in it so you can actually take photos with it at the same time. The menu system seems pretty easy to use it's not too hard to use. It's got a touch screen on here which is kinda nice so actually when you do all your play back and when you are in VCR mode you can actually you touch the screen and do all the controls in there. It's pretty durable. I've used for quite a long it for a long time I've had any problem with that it also has a viewfinder here which is a pull out one that you can use just by looking into it like this instead of using your 21 Controls for zooming in and zooming out are over here you can zoom out quite a ways having trouble focusing at that it does have as much as 120X magnification that's pooh That s ridiculous That s high and obliviously that's digital zoom so you're not gonna get full quality at that zoom nor you'll be all necessary to keep it that steady. One of the things I should point out is it does have ___ size lens on it which means that Sony put their good lenses into this camera so it's a good one that takes good video. I use it for all of my Expo TV shots and now itself gets to be reviewed and put up on Expo TV to talk more about it so I highly recommend I trust Sony as good company they have good products like they have yet to find a Sony product which has disappointed me. So this one overall works really well the TRV33 DV camcorder.
