I have with me the pinnacle of high definition video. The Sony HC7 never has been easier to capture the highest quality HD ever on a mini DV cassette. Now I bought this camera while back so I've really got in touch with it. It's a very nice camera. It's intuitive it's got a lot of awesome features and I suggest it for every person out there consumers who are making simple home videos looking to view on their regular TV or even the more advance filmmakers maybe Indi film makers on a budget like myself. A lot of cool features on this camera one of the reasons why I waited for the HC7 rather than going with the HC3 which I visionally was gonna buy is because of the headphone jack. The headphone jack allows you to hook up standard headphones so that you can listen to your audio while filming which is an amazing feature and it really makes it a pro cam just like these other feature they've also added to the HC7 is the external mic jack. And the external mic jack is also awesome because it really makes it a pro cam it allows you to connect an external mic various different types of mics or maybe even a wireless microphone system. So it's an awesome awesome camera it has a lot of other features here on the top here we have a shoe which allows you to connect many different features from lights to external mics and it's cool cool addition to the series. It takes again full 1019i video and it takes 6.1 stills. The resolution is amazing as you must assumed with the HD ability the resolution you see immediately when looking through the touch screen amazing feature also Sony has added is the touch screen you know who can go wrong with the touch screen you now just click click click and you don't have to deal with buttons or anything like that. One of the things they've added over the here is a ____ and it allows you to you know use different features such as the manual zoom or manual focus. So you can change focus right here manually or you can have the camera do it by itself. Sony has various different out puts here where they've actually provided you with different cables for out put onto TV and computer. I use fire wire which you would have to buy separately. I guess the highest quality out put they have on this camera is the HDMI out put which can hook up to your HD Television and the screen the camera quality looks amazing on HD television. It really compliments the power of this camera. There are a lot of various other features I don't have a lot of time to talk about like the night shot the light but it's an all around great computer which I suggest for a lot of people out there. It uses regular mini DV tapes. Sony has the just like any camcorder they have the zoom out and in right here and also they have it right here so rather than zooming in and out in the back you can use it by opening your screen and you know recording like this if your regular dad who's recording your child's soccer game and let's see another cool feature is this deep battery pack which keeps the eye if you wanted to film through the eye. It keeps this battery out of way. And it has a lot of other features I guess you can read about but overall it's an awesome camcorder I've done a lot of stuff with it the quality is amazing and I really do suggest it to everyone out there it's about 1500 dollars this is the Sony HC7
