Hi, My name is Richard and this is the Sony IC recorder ICDB16. Now this is a voice recorder and I initially got this to record the lectures in the classes at college and I got this for about $17 at Best Buy and it's a waste of money again, -- or one of the many products I wasted money on. And what I -- I mean it says it records 16 hours but the first bad thing is the batteries don't even last that long. I put in 2 fresh batteries already just yesterday and I recorded only an hour's lecture and there is only 2 batteries left out of 4. That really sucks. One hour lecture when it's supposed to records 16 hours, -- yeah, -- no. And if -- you put on hold mode and you leave it on for a week, the batteries will die. So this whole unit somehow consumes a lot of power. Another bad thing with it is it's not USB; you cannot connect it to a computer to download recorded files to your computer so you can listen to them another time. So all your files are stored on to this little system here and one thing it has a very sensitive microphone and it records basically every sound a person makes. That means breathing, pencils falling on the floor, even wind. It's ridiculous, I mean, that could be great and all. But -- it -- when I'm trying to listen to a teacher's lecture there are so many distractions involved that it's very hard to -- I just wish it could just focus on the lecturer and I can get his voice and listen to it clearly. But with all this distractions from the wind and the pencils dropping, I can't hear very clearly and interface is very confusing as you can see. It's very hard to use. I had to use the manual to figure it out. I got to hold on to the erase button and then press erase twice just to delete a recorded session and I wish I can just press it once. The buttons are kind of weird looking, the speaker isn't very loud and I do not recommend this. And this is the Sony voice recorder ICD -- IC recorder ICDB16 and I'm Richard.
